Yan, graduate student:

Liz has helped me with a couple of documents and articles, and I can confidently say she is the best translator I’ve ever worked with. The first thing that surprised me about her was her Chinese, which is so fluent that you could mistake her for a Beijinger over the phone. Her super fluent Chinese helps a lot when we went through certain sentences to make sure that my ideas were expressed accurately, which also showed me her patience and sense of responsibility as a professional translator. When helping me edit papers she caught every tiny mistake: missing articles, extra spaces, wrong punctuation, incorrect capitalization, transcript errors, numbers and tables, spelling of names and places, and even typos in the list of works referenced!
